Sukawati Village does not put on a show, it does not need to, as the real Bali lives in the lively market, rich spice aromas and the steady rhythm of traditional cooking. The tour begins at a local market with crisp kerupuk tahu, light and airy tofu crackers, then moves into the hands on craft of tofu making, where soybeans meet fire and generations of skill, followed by lawar, a bold mix of vegetables, coconut and Balinese spices, and jaja gambir, a sweet, sticky treat, before the highlight at Nasi Tahu Men Sarti, a humble yet iconic tofu rice dish served by Men Sarti, ending with fresh coconut water at Artisan Village. Price includes transportation, walking tour, snacks, lunch at Nasi Tahu Men Sarti and fresh coconut refreshment at the end of the tour.
